Digipak, all the way! More chances for cool gatefold artwork, and the such.

Digipak, in it’s entirety. That would be totally rad.

It’s gotta be Digipak and their multi-folding action.

Digipak has my vote one hundred percent.
Two folds are always better than one.

I love that you’re asking for this opinion 😀
Well…… While digipaks are amazingly cool, jewelcases have such a sentimental feel to them.
    If that makes any sense.
    They’re just a classic.

    DIJIPACKS!
they always look cooler and i am more willing to buy an actual cd if it is a dijipack.

    digipack
    has the knack
    for spreadable art
    gatefold sleeve
    to stand apart
    a package like
    days of yore
    when album art
    served the core

a jewel encrusted platinum holding chalice, inlaid with a filigree of the finest gold. marble hub teeth to hold my compact disk. a disk tray which says that i am the coolest when i press a button. a small monthly subscription fee paid so that i may call a telephone number to talk with a member of tokyo police club – TPChat, they would call it.

cover art painted by one hundred artisans of full-figured beauties weeping over music so moving , so precious, it transcends genre, erases fears, ends time. constant cheeseburgers provided to mouth. “Always” by Erasure as a ringtone. crystal sound. crystal case. crystal pepsi.

or a digipak. whatever is easier. the choice is yours. the choice is all of ours. we have made it. it was the right one.

godspeed you choosers. you have shaped all of our future. our tomorrow will be brighter and tomorrow is today. today is yesterday. yesterday didn’t happen. this the right time. the right now.

    digipak.

I’m down with Scott. However, I prefer full paper cases over digipack. Maybe even recycled paper, or news paper, old ticket stubs?

How about you go down to the second hand shop, buy old albums, and use those cases, with the same booklets. That would confuse the hell out of most.

Digipak – they offer added value to a CD release and you can even get bio-degradable trays inserted in them now.

Jewel cases tend to be fragile.

Digipacks remind me of record jackets. On the other hand, the old school jewel cases remind me of my first cd’s, I love the way the front gets all scuffed up but the booklet stays pristine. So you have to ask yourself – maybe by holding a comittee, maybe just a panel – do you want to remind me of records? or my youth?

Oh, I lost the jewel case to elephant shell, I’m apparently irresponsible? Still have the disc and the booklet at least. It’s never happened before (or since) tho, usually I lose the disc and have to burn a new one, but I seem to have bad luck with TPC LPs? Make a note of it ok?
